Before we get started, You may have a question that “Is SEO really work?” or “Can I get tons of organic traffic for website?”
And the short answer is YES.
There are 7 ways you can get tons of organic traffic for websites whether it is a blog, eCommerce, or any website.
On–page SEO is the most useful method for optimizing particular web pages to rank higher and get more consistent traffic in search engines. Common On-page optimization gives optimizing title tags, content, internal links, and URLs of a web page.
This is one of the most basic steps of SEO and the reason being is keywords is where it all starts.

Most people start with Google Keyword Planner, right? It’s a free tool by Google. When you type a keyword in Google Keyword Planner and Google roughly tells you how much traffic a keyword gets or what it costs, but there’s something wrong with the approach.
What’s wrong with it is?
Google keyword planner tells you here’s a keyword and it gets traffic or it doesn’t get traffic. But it does not necessarily tell you the important part is that traffic where your audience is looking for? Are that traffic and it generates leads or revenue? and that’s why I think you should not use Google Keyword Planner.
You can use SEMRUSH, there’s a free version of it that anyone can go and use and you can get tons of keywords ideas and it breaks it down not just based on popularity, but also what is most likely going to convert and generate your revenue as well. And there are tons of reports in it and I’ll show you how to use it over the period of this article.
When you go to SEMRUSH on the left-hand navigation side, you’ll see a link that says Keyword Overview, click on it.
When you type it in and you type in a keyword that you’re trying to go after anything related to your space such as buying books or gadgets, it’ll tell you what’s popular, the cost per click, the Keyword difficulty. Typically when a keyword has a high cost per click, it means that people are spending a lot of money because it’s generating leads.
It’s very rare that companies spend a lot of money to bid for that keyword in paid ads if it’s not generating any sales.
When you see keyword difficulty of less than you know, 40 or 50, it means that a lot of sites are ranking for this keyword that doesn’t have that much authority and it’s a much easier keyword to rank for. And this will give you an idea if a keyword is good or not?
If you don’t want to use SEMRUSH, there are many other ways you can go and find keywords out there. I recommend using a combination of all of them because the more the better.
On Wikipedia pages, like let’s say if I looked up the United States, it’ll mention things like other countries that are bordering, like Canada or Mexico. It’ll mention things like the Statue of Liberty.
Things like Wikipedia or other content pages around the web that have really detailed content can give you keyword ideas as well because these articles are filled with lucrative keywords. So make sure when you’re reading content around the web, especially on competitor websites, look at what words are mentioning frequently.
At first, you won’t notice them, but when you have that thought in your mind that your competition is using keywords, you will start seeing what they are mentioning over and over and over again.
Look for a keyword that solves a problem. You want to rank because you not only do you want traffic but you need to be able to solve the audience’s problem. If you solve their problem then you are much more likely to rank.
When you’re going after keywords. It all starts by understanding your goals.
Do you want to rank for the keyword because you want more leads?
Do you want your product or service to make more leads?
Do you want to build awareness?
Do you want that brand recognition that everyone knows you?
Or you want all that organic traffic for the website so you can remarket to those people and get them coming back to your site through ads?
If your audience has a problem then they start looking for something and they all end up at the same place, which is they find the solution and they tend to become a lead to learn more information. But you need to remember when you’re going through this, Your audience is a person.
Remember, they are not a robot or a machine, they are real people.
Like if you’re selling hair products, would you really target people who are bald?
Of course not, and if you don’t understand your audience, you’re going to be wasting a lot of time. But you also need to think about authority, right?
It is not just about you or the person searching, it is also about authority because authority is what leads to more social shares and backlinks.

Long-tail keywords are three to four-word phrases that typically indicate that a user is close to purchasing or deciding on an action, whether that’s the “best place for pizza” or “plumbing services in New York” They can be an important avenue for building organic traffic for the website.
After Google released its Panda update, SEO experts and bloggers embraced long-tail keywords because they drive the right kind of organic traffic for the website.
Long-tail keywords help you to generate leads.
When you consider the top 100 or 500 keywords, including the ones that big brands target, long-tail keywords perform work than popular keywords.
You may not get thousands of traffic through long-tail keywords – they do have smaller search volumes but you’ll generate targeted traffic. In SEO, I think “targeted” traffic is better than “general” traffic.
You can use several tools to research long-tail keywords. I’ll show you some simple steps for using SUMRUSH:
Step #1: Visit SUMRUSH. Once you’re there, type your main long-tail keyword (e.g., how to make pizza). Then click “Search.”
Step #2: Click “View all keywords” under keyword variation to reveal all the keywords related to your main phrase:
Step #3: Pick keywords from the list that contain 4 or more words. These are the long-tail keywords that you can easily rank for.
Be sure when you select a keyword, its KD (keyword difficulty) is no higher than 20 or 22. This will help your website to rank well.
However, remember that Google is not as concerned with keywords as it is with user intent. Do not just stuff keywords into your blog post–it’s an outdated search engine optimization practice. Instead, concentrate on providing valuable and engaging content for the user.
